We are currently unable to offer face to face appointments at the due to Covid restrictions. However, all online and telephone appointments are running as usual, feel free to get in touch to check our availability.
Our counsellors help people deal with life’s challenges more effectively. It maybe that you are going through a difficult period in your life and you know what it is you would like to discuss, or it may be that you don't yet know the reason for your distress.
Through improved self-awareness, we can help you explore your issues and support you on your journey to personal acceptance and growth.
Our focus is to help you get in touch with and acknowledge your true self. We do this by providing a safe, confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you will be heard, accepted and understood.
'Baring your soul’ to a stranger can be daunting – it takes courage and trust, an aspect of counselling that cannot be emphasised enough is to make sure clients feel safe, at ease and accepted when they enter the counselling room for the first time (Sutton, Stewart 2008).
We offer counselling to children and young people aged 9 - 18 years with a range of issues.

All of our counsellors are registered members of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work according to their Ethical Framework. Under these guidelines our counsellors are subject to regular supervision, continued professional development and must hold professional indemnity insurance and enhanced DBS clearance. This ensures that all of our clients remain our primary concern while working with them, including their safety and confidentiality.
